Clothing Collection

Date: October 14, 2015 Author: Nick Browne Categories: Fundraising, PTFA Events, Upcoming Events

It’s that time again!  So, why not have a clear out before winter sets in and bring all your unwanted clothing to help raise money for the school.

We are collecting all of your unwanted textiles including adults and children’s clothes, paired shoes, hats, bags, belts, curtains, towels and bed linen. To save on waste, please use your own plastic bags to bring the clothes to school

We will be collecting all of your unwanted textiles, to raise funds for the PTFA, on Tuesday 1st December and Wednesday 2nd December (note changed dates), in the morning at school drop off and in the afternoon at home time.  The two collection points will be the Art Hut in the Key Stage 1 playground and the Pavilion in the Key Stage 2 playground.

How does is work?

Fill your own bags up with unwanted items of clothing and bring to school on collection day.

Full bags will be weighed and the PTFA will receive money per kilogram.

Phil the Bag accepts the following wearable items:

  • All men’s, ladies’ and children’s clothing
  • Paired shoes (tied together)
  • Handbags, bags, ties & belts
  • Curtains
  • Towels and bed linen

Sophie Pettit is running this fundraiser so please speak to her direct or email,uk and we will pass your query or comment on.

How can I help?

If you are able to help on either of the collection days please contact Sophie Pettit (Jack and Jonty’s mum), via the PTFA email
