woodcote christmas fair 2015

Yes, you may think you were in Coulsdon but when you enter the Woodcote Primary School Fair this November you will be forgiven for thinking you had materialised into a magical Christmas world with added seasonal cheer and good will to all.  The PTFA Committee and Class Reps have been working hard behind the scenes and already have a great line up of stalls, games, food and entertainment so make sure you keep the date free!

Santa’s Grotto is a place of magic for our little ones and this year is no exception.  Decorated to a highly professional standard by our Allison, vice-chair and resident design queen extraordinaire, we expect lots of laughs and smiling faces at the Grotto run by our happy staff helpers.  This year we are not charging extra for a photograph so you are more than free to take your own pictures and view or print them at your leisure.  This keeps costs down for you and ensures the Grotto is very relaxed for that extra special visit.

Sandy, our mum who does amazing things in the kitchen for loads of people, if back catering for the Fair this year and we  can’t wait to try the latest menu.  We love her food and this is a huge bonus having a professional on the case.  Make the most of the great food and ensure you don’t eat before you come!

Mr Reagan and Mrs Day will be organising the choir and KS2 staff are running an amazing karaoke and photobooth room.  The photobooth idea  was tested out at teh Year 6 leavers Disco at the end of the last school year and was a great success so we’re expecting mega fun and frolics going on.  Get ready to dress up and hopefully we won’t need our earplugs!

Mulled wine will be available and cakes and teas in the Pavilion.

We have retailers selling good perfect for Christmas presents and of course our craft room running for those extra special handmade items.

There will be loads of games and tombolas too!

The Mufti and Donation days taking place over the weeks running up to the Fair are:

Friday 13th November (Mufti/Non-Uniform Day) –  New or quality toys for and wrapped sweets for the Fair Children’s Tombolas and quality Christmas decorations to sell / use at the Fair

Friday 20th November (Mufti/Non-Uniform Day) -Bottles, quality unwanted Christmas decorations to sell / use at the Fair

Friday 27th November (Donation Day  – Please wear uniform) – Cakes, either home made or bought (if homemade please specify if they contain nuts and put your child’s name /class on your container for return)

We’d love to hear from you if you can help out at the Fair or on any of the collection days.  We also invite helpers who are ex-Woodcote siblings or family and friends.  The more helpers the more fun stalls and games we can run!  We always need extra help on the busy stalls like Face Painting so if you’re a little arty please let us know!

Just speak to your Class Rep who is likely already organising the class stall or email
