2016 Annual General Meeting

Date: February 3, 2016 Author: Nick Browne Categories: Event Updates, Fundraising, Latest News, PTFA Events

It’s the PTFA AGM on Tuesday the 9th of Feb from 7.30pm in the Key Stage 2 hall.  We are a friendly, welcoming bunch and we’re celebrating a very successful year.  This isn’t a long meeting and everyone is invited so please come along and support us!

What is the AGM?

This is an opportunity for the Committee to give an overview of the year’s fundraising, spending and activities.  It is also the time when the current Committee stand down and any Friends are invited to step up.  If you are interested in any of the  main Committee elected roles (Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary or Treasurer) or a general Committee role.  We also welcome any interest in becoming a Class Rep; our link to individual classes.

Our AGM is held in February so that new members can benefit from the experience of any Committee parents leaving in the summer term.  This isn’t the case this year, we have a strong and experienced Committee so if you are looking to join we can show you the ropes.  We welcome new ideas and energy for organising and running the PTFA events and have a great relationship with the school, many of our events having been established over a good number of years.

If you are interested in taking up a role please complete the Nomination Form  and email it to admin@woodcoteptfa.org.uk or hand it into the School Office by Friday 5th at 3.45.  This form is also available on the School Mobile App under the Contact Forms tab.

If you like to find out more about the roles or the AGM just Contact Us.  Remember you don’t have to be able to attend the meeting to nominate yourself for a role and you don’t have to nominate yourself for a role to attend the meeting.  All families are members of the Woodcote PTFA and our success is based on the support we receive from our members.
