Back to school

We hope that you and yours are settling in well to your new classes and would like to extend a special welcome to our ‘extended’ reception families!

Following an amazing year of events and fundraising totals I am sure it is no surprise that the PTFA Committee have been beavering away scheduling in dates for this year.  The development work at the school will have some impact on what we are running, but we are really looking forward to the exciting events we have in store.

This term we have, back by popular demand, the PTFA Quiz night (one for the adults!), our Christmas Fair, and keeping in the spirit of Christmas, new for this year, our Pantomime production in collaboration with Reamba Theatre Company and Woodcote High School PTFA to be held in their fabulous staged hall.

Apart from our main events we will be selling uniform at the Parent Evenings and serving refreshments at the Christmas performances.  Our full list of events as always can be found on our calendar.

We always welcome new and returning helpers so please keep up to date on the website, Facebook, Twitter and the school app PTFA What’s on page!  Helping out can range from a bit of baking here and there to giving up a little bit of your time to help run a stall at a school Fair.   Most classes have Class Representatives who help with the organisation of class and year stalls as well as helping coordinate volunteers for events and keep parents and carers up to date with what the PTFA are doing.  This list will be updated soon so if you fancy joining the Class Rep team please get in contact by emailing

We’ve just spent £200 on some outdoor equipment for the KS2 playgrounds but most of our spending will hold off until the school works have been completed.
